State Corrections Pay Restitution

A Michigan prisoner has been awarded $11,500 following complaints that guards damaged his TV and typewriter, and withheld medication. The Associated Press reports that Arthur Campbell’s claims go back to 2007. The case reached a federal court after Campbell successfully appealed a decision that went in favor of the Corrections Department employees.
