Escaped Inmate Recaptured

A 47 year old inmate in Jackson County escaped and spent a couple hours outside a minimum security facility, Sunday morning. According to police, the man was found at a Jackson home, two hours later. Investigators don’t believe that he was helped by any jail personnel, but they are investigating whether he had help from outside the jail. The man was being held for assault and drug charges.
