Man On Bicycle Hit By Car In Portage

Portage Police say a man who was hit by a car while riding his bike across the road had been drinking.

Police say the alcohol may have been a factor in causing the accident.

It happened just before 6pm Sunday at the intersection of Sprinkle and Meredith.

The 54-year-old man riding the bike was taken to the hospital where he is in stable condition.
