
Three Rivers Man Arrested After Overnight Standoff
An overnight standoff in Three Rivers ended after a man was found hiding in a crawlspace.
WWMT reports that the standoff began after St. Joseph County Sheriff’s investigators tracked down their suspect to a house in the 800 block of 4th Street overnight Thursday. The Three Rivers man was wanted for several outstanding warrants. SWAT members entered the home around 3:30am Friday, and initially couldn’t find the man inside.
A K-9 unit was brought in, and the suspect was tracked down to a crawlspace in about an hour. The man was arrested, and is lodged at the St. Joseph County Jail on warrants, including home invasion and weapons charges.
